The Silatos™ Silicone Sheetings are made of a medical grade, flexible and translucent silicone elastomer material. The sheetings are easily cut to any size and shape. They can be autoclaved and are also highly permeable to gases. Removal of the sheetings is facilitated by their low tendency to adhere to adjacent tissue.

The Silatos™ Silicone Sheetings are designed to fit a variety of medical applications and are available in serveral thicknesses, flexibilities and with a double knit polyester fabric which reinforces the sheeting for dimensional stability and tear resistance.

Common Applications: 

• Dressing of the ear canal after all kinds of middle ear surgery.
• Different applications in rhinoplastic surgery.
• Skin covering and treatment of cicatrices.
• Various laboratory uses. 

Thorough testing is recommended for products made in part or otherwise incorporating Silatos Silicone Sheeting to determine the acceptability of the product´s performance in a specific application. For single use and for single patient use only!
